Chappell Battles Back for Top Ten Finish Mesquite, Texas – Mother Nature wreaked havoc on another night on the American Sprint Car Series National Tour Saturday night. As the teams began to get on to the speedway for warm-ups, the sky opened in a torrential downpour with hail belting the half-mile clay at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. Respectable Finish for Chappell Oklahoma City, Ok – Zach Chappell and the team made its second trip of the year to the State Fair Speedway in Oklahoma City Friday night, as the American Sprint Car Series National Tour resumed action. Rain throughout the week caused some concern for Zach and the team. As expected, another great field of cars signed in for competition. Tough night for ZCR Sedalia, Mo – Coming after a solid finish at Lake of the Ozarks Speedway, Zach Chappell and the team went north and took on the O’Reilly Auto Parts Winged Outlaw Warriors at the Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, MO. As always, another stellar field of cars was entered in the 3rd Annual Bob Ramey Memorial, including stars like the 2001 World of Outlaws Champion Danny Lasoski, and multi-time Knoxville Track Champion Brian Brown, and three time defending W.O.W Champion, Randy Martin. |
